From playdough to cookie dough and crochet hooks to knitting needles, and everything  (boy do we mean everything) in between, we have the perfect resource for your next project – wheher you have a little or a lot of experience, are 2 or 92, we are sure that you will find something for you here at Daylilies.

We are committed to caring for the environment and our health, and our choice of products reflects this commitment. Where there is an option to choose natural or organic products, we always pick that option.

Who is Debra O’Connor?

Debra O’Connor is the Designer and Creativity Facilitator for Daylilies -  a professionally trained fine artist and a member of the Portrait Society of Canada, having recently received her Master’s Degree with a focus on Creativity.  She has been working with creativity and the arts for over 10 years, but has had a lifetime of being creative. She loves everything about creativity, especially when she has the privilege to help someone else with their creative endeavours, projects, or goals.

All of the Daylilies blog posts are written by Debra (unless she has a guest writer in, and then she’ll let you know who the guest author is). Join her as she posts her creative journey on this blog – the good, the fabulous, and even those creative endeavours that don’t turn out so well. Check in often – there are lots of new things posted regularly! (And, since she is not representing any products or companies, Debra will tell you what she thinks about the product and/or the project (often candidly)- if she loves it or hates it.

Why Daylilies – The Last Word:

We started Daylilies because we believe that everyone is creative and that creativity enriches lives. We believe that life is boring without creativity; Creativity should be nurtured, encouraged and recognized for its importance in day-to-day living. And finally, we believe that humanity is not doomed to accept only mass produced goods and ideas – creativity is not only fun and educational, but it opens us all up to a world filled to the brim with possibility. We all have the power and the ability to be creative.

We do offer art & creativity supplies for your choice of creativity projects, but we also offer our other creative or handcrafted items as Patterns, Kits or Ready-Made. Whether you want to make the item from a Pattern, or have all the supplies and instructions for the project delivered to your door as a Kit, or if you just want to order the item already created for you as Ready-Made, we hope you will think of Daylilies for your next creative project or gift needs.
